JANOG, short for Japan Network Operator’s Group, is a technical forum that brings together local Japanese professionals in network engineering, operations, and technology. It aims to discuss topics related to network security, network applications, and network operations. The JANOG conference is held twice a year, and this edition will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining physical attendance and online livestreaming. The number of participants (both physical and online) for this edition is expected to exceed 1900.
At the conference, Genie Networks will demonstrate how to perform Botnet C&C server analysis using its network traffic analysis and security system – GenieATM, specifically for defending against DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.
