Genie Supported Telin in an Annual IMF event 2018

Telin, a subsidiary of Telkom, the largest telecommunication service provider in Indonesia, adopted Genie Network’s traffic analysis and DDoS attack solution to ensure network stability and security for the 2018 Annual Meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) held in Bali, Indonesia this October. This marks a new milestone in Genie’s global achievement in network visibility and DDoS protection.

DDoS attack stands as one of the biggest threats to today’s internet carriers and organizations. Along with rapid advancement of the internet technology, DDoS attack has evolved significantly and become more complex over the past years. This has raised global awareness of cyber security for major business operations and event organizations, notably one with the scale and importance like the IMF, which could very likely gain attention from cyber attackers around the globe. Thus, having a secure network structure has become a top concern for organizing the annual IMF and WB Meeting this year.

By deploying GenieATM, Telin was able to offer fast and reliable detection capabilities that instantly locate anomaly traffic and prevent malicious DDoS attacks from intrusion during the IMF and WB Meeting.

“During the Annual IMF and WB event, Genie’s Team was always quick in response and had aided whether in network security evaluation, protection or enhancement issue to ensure everything is in order. We understand the increasingly complex threat landscape means a consistent and secure environment has become paramount to enterprises, and we must always ensure that our network leads the industry to protect against cyber threats,” said Wayan Muliastika, Digital Operation, Vice President of Telin. “By adding Genie Networks to our roster of vendors further demonstrates our commitment to deliver improved security and threat visibility to businesses worldwide and make the best internet delivery experience to our customers. We highly appreciate Genie’s committed support throughout the event.”
