Genie Networks partners with Global Cloud Xchange to boost Network Security and Performance


Genie Networks, a leader in traffic visibility and DDoS protection solutions, today announced a partnership with Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a subsidiary of Reliance Communications, to further enhance network efficiency and optimize peering performance across diverse IT environments to meet the growing demand for globally-secured Internet access.


GCX operates one of the largest global subsea cable and terrestrial networks, and offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions customized for carriers, enterprises and new media companies. Offering its high-performance Cloud X platform to enterprises around the world, GCX require sophisticated infrastructure that houses, processes and transports businesses’ mission-critical enterprise data safely and securely. By leveraging GenieATM network management tool, GCX can now have insights into an extensive analysis reports on network traffic, peering, and anomaly traffics, while further optimizing the network performance and cost efficiencies.

GenieATM portfolio is a flow-based solution to collect network-wide traffic for data mining and anomaly detection, is designed especially for carrier-grade network with high capacity and high performance. It automatically generates various pre-defined traffic reports and detects abnormal network behaviors, DoS/DDoS attacks, and unusual routings from interior or exterior networks; alerts will then be sent out to network operators for actions in time. Meanwhile, GenieATM also provides powerful Snapshot and Forensic tools which support the integration of 3rd-party devices to promptly intercept anomaly traffic.
